Essential functions of this position:
This position is responsible for managing the on-line application and confirmation system for Youth Programs. This includes technical support and troubleshooting, customer service, enrollment tracking and assessment, and report preparation. This position coordinates efforts with the registrar office within Conference Services to track registrations. Also provides customer service by responding to phone and email inquiries related to applications and registrations. This position coordinates the interface of the registration system with Youth Programs’ websites which serve as our main marketing avenues. This position manages the websites; duties including search engine optimization, site mapping, daily updates to website content (enrollment status, blogs, photos). This position manages all social media efforts; maintains facebook pages and photo galleries (photographs programs in the field); creates promotional email blasts, flyers, newsletters, twitter and facebook campaigns. This position works in tandem with the Youth Programs budget coordinator to submit a marketing plan and handle marketing vendor relations and products in print, radio and television. Responsibilities include creating and tracking on-line surveys and evaluation tools specific to Youth Programs, and maintaining participant databases based on these tools. This includes assisting with simple statistical analysis of data collected for reporting purposes.

N.C. Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Additional knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the essential functions of the position:
Ability to update on-line application system and websites as new versions (software packages), modules, policies become available/ required
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills in order to produce marketing materials via html blast, facebook, email, print, television and radio
Must have current understanding of/ experience with social media opportunities that can enhance Youth Programs marketing efforts and communication with customers

Preferred education, professional skills and experience:
Website development (using Cascade, Wordpress or Wix programs) and management (search engine optimization and site mapping), proficiency with Adobe Professional software and Microsoft Office (particularly excel database)
Proficiency with graphics manipulation software
Ability to take quality digital photos; Some html coding experience for creating email blasts using Constant Contact or similar program. Familiarity with survey creations through WUFOO, Google docs or similar tools

Certifications or licensure required to perform the essential functions of the position:
Valid NC driver’s license

Recruitment Range: $36,172 - $40,191
NC Salary Grade Equivalency: 59
Hours Per Week: 1.0 (40 hours per week)

Work Days: Monday - Friday occasional weekend and nights
Work Hours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM, flexibility required
