Assistant Director of Advertising & Marketing
Orange Media Network at Oregon State University (OSU) invite applications for an Assistant Director of Advertising & Marketing. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month, fixed term professional faculty position. Reappointment is at the discretion of the Director.
Student Media informs, persuades, guides, educates and entertains while serving the OSU community and the greater Corvallis area. In the process, students receive a comprehensive understanding of the media and the skills needed to create it.
The Assistant Director of Advertising & Business provides guidance, training, advice and feedback across all media platforms for student-led programs at Oregon State University’s student media department, Orange Media Network. The Assistant Director reports to the Director of Student Media and works closely with the Student Media Leadership Team.
The Assistant Director works with the Student Media Leadership Team in recruiting, training and coaching student staff and supports students and professional staff in the development of integrated, multimedia products in order to facilitate the production of high-quality media and maintain a fiscally sustainable series of programs. The Assistant Director works directly with Advertising Team students to meet sales quotas; works directly with Creative Team students to produce effective and engaging advertising and promotional materials, and Promotions and Marketing students to grow engagement and awareness of OMN and its media content through campaigns, events and research.
