Coordinator, Center for Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Regional Resource Center (Grant-Funded)

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or a related field and one (1) year of direct experience in cybersecurity education required.  Some travel is required for this position.  A valid driver's license is required at the time of hire and for the duration of the appointment.

Duties:

The Coordinator for the Center for Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Regional Resource Center (Grant-funded) coordinates the day-to-day operations of MVCC’s Regional Resource Center of the National Security Agency Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense program. 

Duties include, but are limited to, the following:

Ensures the Regional Resource Center is responsive to requests from regional institutions, candidate institutions, and the NSA Program Office;

Collaborates internal faculty and staff and external constituents to facilitate cooperation, participation, and effective communication in the interest of meeting Regional Resource Center goals;

Coordinates events including, but not limited to, lectures, conferences, and online workshops;

Compiles, maintains, and analyzes regional data and responds to requests for data or analysis from the Regional Resource Center Director, Program Office, or external constituencies;

Prepares professional periodic and ad hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders;

Performs other duties as assigned by the Associate Dean and Regional Resource Center Director.
