Assistant Director-Center for Data and Analytics (CADS)
Farmer School of Business/Center for Analytics & Data Science: Assistant Director to have a range of responsibilities related to the advancement and growth of the Center including guiding students through experiential projects, hosting events, fostering relationships with external partners, and supporting faculty in developing a collaborative environment to foster research and pedagogy. Provide Leadership/Corporate Relations to include: Directing student interns; recruiting corporate partners; maintaining and fostering partner relationships. Manage Programs/Events to include: coordinating and overseeing Center events; overseeing Center workshops; building on existing programmatic activities; developing new programmatic activities. Serve as Project Manager to include: Reviewing and prioritizing project opportunities; directing activities related to legal and financial aspects of projects including nondisclosures, contracts, invoicing; identify appropriate faculty and students to staff client projects; ensuring the timely and quality delivery of project solutions to clients. Provide Center Administration to include: Coordinating and overseeing Center technology needs and support; directing the Center in all financial and budgetary matters; managing growth of Center.
Require: Bachelor’s degree in a field related to analytics or data science or a Bachelor’s degree with work experience or continuing education related to analytics or data science; outstanding written and oral communication skills; ability to adapt within an entrepreneurial start-up environment; high level of initiative and willingness to work independently; willingness to work outside of normal business hours if required; occasional travel may be required.
