Sr. Performance Test Analyst

Position Description

• Author the performance test strategy & plans
• Perform performance test analysis and design
• Perform performance ROI and estimates
• Define the performance test roadmap
• Identify and prepare test data
• Monitor and manage completion of the performance test scope
• Ensure quality processes are followed
• Execute/maintain performance test scripts per test cycle activities as defined in the test
plan
• Identify, log, and follow-up on all defects encountered
• Communicate progress of testing activities to the Test Manager or directly to client
stakeholders
• Produce "client-facing" and "CGI-internal" status reports, as required
• Participate in lessons learned reviews
• Participate in pertinent team training activities
• Maintain solid understanding of software testing best practices, methodologies and
terminology
• Act as a mentor for test team members and provide performance feedback Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Required Level of Education
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and/or Business ... or... Diploma in IT and/or
Business with equivalent IT experience
• Industry recognized testing certification(s)

Must Have Skills and Experience
• Minimum 5+ yrs working in Software Testing, Quality Assurance
• Minimum 5+ yrs working in progressive Business/IT Sector
• Minimum 4+ yrs working with HP Loadrunner
• Minimum 5+ yrs working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Minimum 4+ yrs advanced experience with HP Quick Test Professional

Nice to Have Skills and Experience
• Experience automating web-based client/server solutions
• Experience with knowledge transition activities and process
• Experience designing and creating excel macros
• Experience with versioning control systems (e.g. CVS, SVN, Perforce)
• Experience with web service technologies and tools (e.g. soapUI, XML, SOAP, WSDL)
