RN Assistant Director of Nursing, Pediatric Home Health
Continuum Pediatric Nursing Services - one of the nation's leading providers of long-term nursing in the home for medically fragile children - is growing along with our patients! We are in need of an experienced Registered Nurse to manage cases throughout the Piedmont Region based out of our Hickory office. The selected nurse manager will have experience working with medically complex children, preferably in the home and community based setting.
Our nurses share our mission of providing quality care to our patients, and by extension their families. Our team is a close-knit, caring group of healthcare professionals dedicated to hiring and training RNs and LPNs to serve our patients, and ensuring that the care provided is of the highest quality. This management role offers a unique opportunity for a pediatric nurse to leverage his or her clinical experience in the rapidly growing home health segment.
Responsibilities will include supervising field nursing staff, patient care coordination, working with physicians and hospital discharge plans of care, maintaining compliance with state and accrediting bodies. This position requires someone to be detail oriented, organized and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
Competitive compensation, benefits and a career management track are just some of the reasons Continuum is the employer of choice in the seven states we provide care. If you are a pediatric nurse interested in making a difference in the lives of children - and in your career growth - please contact us today for consideration. You can find out more about Continuum at www.continuum-nursing.com.
Continuum is nurse managed and we take great pride in offering our valued field staff a supportive, caring culture where your needs are as important to us as the needs of our patients. We truly believe that if you are cared for, you will provide the best care to our kids!
Continuum was founded nearly twenty-five years ago on the belief that many formerly institutionalized children could benefit greatly from highly skilled in-home nursing. Continuum is at the forefront of a nationwide movement which recognizes that, for many young patients, the nurturing support of family and familiar surroundings is critical to their long-term emotional and physical well-being. Our vision, matched by technological advances over the last two decades, now allows an increasing number of children who survive birth defects or who have severe illnesses, to move beyond indefinite confinement in a facility and into physician-directed nursing care in their own home surrounded by their own families.
Continuum is now among the largest providers of shift-based care for this very special patient population, with offices in Northern Virginia, Suburban Maryland, Chesapeake Virginia, Charlotte and Hickory North Carolina, Charleston South Carolina, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and Chicago Illinois. We remain privately owned and operated, with our priority the care and welfare of our patients and our nurses.
