New Law School Building Manager : Responsible for the management and operation of the new law school facility, to include landscape management of the site. Provides leadership to USC facility staff stationed in the building. Effectively manages multiple contracts for services to the new facility to include but not limited to custodial services, landscaping services, and occupational trades contracts for building maintenance. Provides 24/7 coverage of building operations while closely working with law school leadership to schedule plan, and coordinate services.
Successful candidate will have the following:
Thorough knowledge of the maintenance and construction of facilities and a complete understanding of the work process and sequencing of trades or crafts. Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects and priorities at the same time and work effectively with a wide variety of university personnel and leadership. Ability to plan and organize work, prioritize activities, and have strong problem solving skills. Ability to inspire others to act and to think from the end. Ability to use technology in the workplace to improve work outcomes. Computer software literate, including proficiency in Microsoft excel, word, power point, and outlook. Attention to detail and critical eye for inspections.
Bachelors degree in construction management, facilities management, business or a related field and 3 years construction management or maintenance experience. South Carolina Driver's License required.
