The advisor provides academic and career advising to roughly 500 majors and 250 minors, contributes to the recruitment and orientation of undergraduate majors, assists in enrollment management, and participates in undergraduate administrative planning. The position is responsible for advising minors.
1. Master's degree
2. Interpersonal skills to work with students, faculty, staff, and alumni
3. If this position is Security Sensitive or if you are subject to a criminal background investigation based on University policy, employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation. You may not begin work until the criminal background investigation results have been received and cleared by Human Resources.
1. Experience with academic and career counseling.
2. Experience with ISU's Student Information System (SIS) or comparable system.
