Duties: This position will provide research and administrative support to the Chair of the Department of Medical Ethics and Health Policy in the Perelman School of Medicine. Primary responsibilities will include acting as teaching assistant to the Chair's university courses, and aiding in the Chair's other research and educational endeavors. This position will require extensive writing, proofreading, and editing skills, both for speeches and popular writing. In addition, the applicant will play a critical role in the execution of the chair's online education and media ventures.

Position has a specific end date of 9/30/2019.

Qualifications: The minimum of a High School diploma and 5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Bachelor's Degree and 1 year to 2 years of experience strongly preferred. The applicant should also be able to synthesize academic research material, respond to copyright queries from publishers, and analyze health policy data. The successful candidate must be able to work both independently and as part of a team, and must be able to multi-task in order to meet tight deadlines. A background in communications, online education, and/or health policy is preferred.
