Job Summary The Admission Counselor's primary responsibility will be to recruit students for the UGA College of Agricultural & Environmental Science (CAES) academic majors offered at the UGA Tifton Campus. The individual will work with the Director of Academic Programs and faculty to develop and implement a marketing/recruitment plan to increase student enrollment. Duties include establishing contacts with potential students, future employers, partners, the media and the public, developing and presenting promotional materials for use in a variety of media outlets and assisting in the development of transfer agreements with two-year institutions. The recruiter will represent the UGA Tifton Campus at recruitment events and will work closely with the UGA CAES Athens Academic Affairs recruitment office to implement state-wide recruitment initiatives at the Tifton Campus and in South Georgia. The recruiter will oversee the UGA Tifton Campus Ambassador team and assist the Director of Academic Programs in meeting existing student needs. Minimum Qualifications Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master's degree in psychology, education, student personnel, or a related area; and considerable experience related to this class of work; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
