Job Description

Position Summary
The Project Engineer acts as the Project Manager on small scale projects while they continue to grow and learn by acting as the Assistant Project Manager on larger projects with their current PM. This position is an internal career progression position. It is intended to advance Assistant Project Managers who have gained sufficient knowledge and experience to begin managing their own small projects. It is expected that those who are promoted to this position have mastered all the objects of the assistant project manager position.

Under the supervision of the Project Manager / Project Engineer, the Assistant Project Manager performs essential project management tasks such as updating project schedules, processing submittals and RFIs, assisting with the subcontractor procurement process, coordination, project delivery and close out. This position is intended as an entry level position for individuals to gain foundational experience required to become a Project Manager.
