PhD or MD/PhD. Biochemistry, Physiology or other related life sciences field.

Research interest in Cardiovascular Medicine and/or Electrophysiology. Candidate should have an established independent research program. Candidate must meet criteria for appointment at rank per UW Guidelines for appointment with tenure.

Position Summary:

Director of Cardiovascular Research Center provides overall leadership to CVRC research and training activities; responsible for budgets, reports and annual review and evaluation of CV Physiology Core. The incumbent will be expected to provide lectures to Cardiovascular Medicine fellows,mentor to pre-/post-doctorates in the research environment; as well as provide lectures in other medical student/graduate student courses.
