Division of Cardiology
The Division of Cardiology at the University of Colorado has an opening for a full-time instructor to work at the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO, with your main duties being completed at the Lone Tree Health Center. This position is for a nurse practitioner or physician's assistant for the General Cardiology Program.
This position will include outpatient and inpatient assessment and management of our adult and adolescent patients in conjunction with our general cardiologists. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Independent assessment and management of post procedure patients in follow-up
- Support of General Cardiology physicians in clinic
- Inpatient and consultative support for the medicine and surgical services caring for our General Cardiology patients
- Limited weekend consultative work is negotiable
- Perform and interpret stress ECGs and perform stress ECHOs

MSN, NP or PA degree
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
While cardiology experience is preferred, it is not required. New graduates are welcome to apply. Experience with excel or access database use is helpful but not required to assist with tracking of patients for internal quality assurance.
