The department of Pediatrics seeks a Nurse Clinical Manager Senior to supervise recruitment, training, and assure appropriate evaluation of clinical personnel. Will oversee the preparation of work schedules and job assignments.

Develop and update job descriptions as needed. Implement staff development activities. Establish customer service goals for clinical staff. Promote continuing education classes for all clinical staff and cultivate and maintain interdepartmental and medical staff relationships.

In coordination with the practice manager, assure compliance with all policies and procedures; support patient care in clinics through supervision of approved standards and nursing practices; when necessary provide direct nursing patient care.

In coordination with the practice manager, assure validation of staff clinical competency. Provide training and support skill development to maintain appropriate levels of clinical support for patient care staff.
