Summary of Duties
Assists Campus Recreation staff in coordinating and planning group exercise schedules with fitness instructors, event planning, and developing/updating website and promotional materials. Additional responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, social media development, marketing and other duties as assigned. Ensures proper knowledge of membership services and fees. Fosters a healthy work environment with ability to work well with other SLWC staff and employees.

Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate’s degree in a closely related field plus one year of experience related to the Summary of Duties or any combination of education and/or experience related to the Summary of Duties totaling three years.

Preferred Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited institution with an Associates degree in Community Health, Exercise and Wellness or other related field plus one year related experience OR within 1 year of graduation with a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Knowledge
Knowledge of policies and procedures as it relates to Member and Guest Services.

Skills
Skills in the use of computers and computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and adobe photoshop.

Interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Abilities
Ability to plan, implement and carry out Campus Recreation events.

Ability to communicate to groups of students, staff, and faculty.

Ability to be trained on new techniques and responsibilities.

Working Conditions


Schedule
Morning, early afternoon availability - Monday through Friday. Will be determined upon hire. Weekly hours will not exceed 28.
