** EFFECTIVE START DATE FOR THIS POSITION TO BE NO EARLIER THAN SEPTEMBER 1, 2017 **The University of North Texas seeks a motivated, team oriented professional to join our Advancement team as an Assistant Director of Annual Giving - Integrated Marketing. The Assistant Director reports to the Director of the Annual Fund and works under the direction of the Assistant Vice President of Donor Relations and Advancement Services to coordinate and facilitate the direct marketing and e-marketing areas of the annual giving program, the Annual Fund at UNT. The assistant director works collaboratively with the Assistant Director of Annual Giving - Phonathon to integrate solicitations.Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:* Collaborate with the Director of the Annual Fund on creation and implementation of an annual production schedule.* Development of Annual Fund Creatives.* Copy writing and editing.* Establishing and maintaining mail house communication flow.* Collaborate with research and data management staff to create solicitation codes and tracking systems.* Create annual giving reporting and analysis.* Special projects as assigned.The University of North Texas System is firmly committed to equal opportunity and does not permit - and takes actions to prevent - discrimination, harassment (including sexual violence), and retaliation on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, family status, genetic information, citizenship or veteran status in its application and admission processes, educational programs and activities, facilities, and employment practices. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree and two years of professional experience in marketing, fundraising, event planning, public relations, corporate account sales, or communications; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
