General Summary:

The Test Administrator oversees the administration of a wide range of standardized testing activities conducted in the testing center, to include recruitment, training, and supervision of testing staff.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and monitor the administration of tests by invigilators, clerical markers, and examiners, ensuring test instructions are accurate and that the appropriate testing environment is maintained.

Provide routine direction, information, and advisement to prospective test takers by telephone and email in regards to testing policies procedures, and outcomes.

Coordinate test day schedules and ensure adequate staffing for the administration of examinations.

Ensure test results are fairly and accurately scored utilizing automated or manual processes. Mail final scores to candidates and receiving organizations.

Maintain and ensure confidentiality of test results and maintain security of testing materials.

Provide assistance to students with special accommodations.

Perform related program duties, as required. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field. Master's preferred.

A minimum of one year directly related experience to the duties and responsibilities outlined in the job is required.

Experience working with diverse people and people of limited English proficiency is required.

Cross-cultural communication skills and ability to communicate using modified English are required.

Knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel is required.

Experience managing multiple facets of a project is required.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of materials is required.

Supervisory experience is required.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy is required.

Able to work independently and as a team is required.

Exhibit excellent customer service skills, working with both students and faculty is required.

Demonstrate professionalism and a positive attitude even under stressful conditions is required.
