Psychiatry Faculty Position—Global Mental Health
The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent, non-profit clinical practice group affiliate with The George Washington University, is seeking an academic psychiatrist for a full-time faculty appointment. Rank (Assistant/Associate/ Full Professor) and track (tenure track, non-tenure track) will be commensurate with experience. In addition to developing an active research program and teaching, the successful candidate will be engaged in practicing psychotherapy with psychiatric patient populations, providing psychosocial care for medically-ill patients, and providing psychopharmacological treatment to diverse populations.
Basic Qualifications: Applicants must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Psychiatry and license eligible in the District of Columbia at the time of appointment;.
