Responsibilities:

The Slavov Laboratory is seeking a highly motivated quantitative protein mass spectrometry scientist who will provide deep expertise for investigating ribosome-mediated translational regulation, a project supported by the NIH Director's Award DP2GM123497, including support for advancing Single Cell ProtEomics by Mass Spectrometry (SCoPE-MS) and developing new groundbreaking single-cell measurements based on mass-spectrometry. The senior research scientist will be primarily responsible for the development and implementation of innovative bioanalytical methods sample preparation and analysis using LC-MS-based detection. He or she will will join a collaborative state-of-the-art laboratory and is expected to build strong collaborative partnerships within the group, as well as to develop and drive new projects within the scope of the Slavov laboratory. This position requires strong bioanalytical expertise and experience with high resolution quantitative mass spectrometry.

Qualifications:

Must have a Ph.D. or equivalent; experience which includes progressively more responsible, independent research work evidenced by publications, inventions, or equivalent efforts; demonstrated project management experience, including supervisory, budgetary and general administrative skills.
