Posting Summary:
The Mountain Lake Biological Station seeks applications to fill non-tenure-track Lecturer positions during the 2017 summer academic term to teach courses in field biology. Advanced undergraduate and graduate-level field biology courses are offered in areas such as ecological genetics, community ecology, population biology, and behavioral ecology. Taxon-focused courses might include mammalogy, ornithology, herpetology, entomology, mycology, and botany. Anticipated enrollment is 12 students. Courses satisfy lab credit for Biology Majors. Courses run for three or four weeks. Instructors live and work at the Station for the duration of the course.

Compensation will be in the form of wages per course with no benefits. A terminal degree in Biology or related field is expected but not required.
