Director of Admission Operations

Position Summary: The Director of Admissions Operations manages all aspects of the undergraduate admission prospect and application processes. This includes business processes, data capture and processing, functional and systems-related technology, document management, application processing and notification functions. As a hands-on functional power user of the Ellucian Banner student information system and Ellucian CRM Recruit, the Director will serve as the primary resource for all undergraduate systems-related issues. This is an exempt, APA unit position and is subject to the terms of that union agreement.
Essential Duties: * Provide leadership to a support staff of eight who are responsible for all aspects of application file management. * Ensure an efficient and effective admission process at the undergraduate level utilizing Ellucian Banner and Ellucian CRM Recruit. * Coordinate with Assistant/Associate Directors of Undergraduate Admission, as well as other enrollment management departments and academic units, in the execution of recruitment and enrollment plans. * Initiate and support the use of technology in office functions towards the goal of optimizing staff efficiencies and procedural effectiveness to ensure a positive student experience. * Communicate regularly with appropriate members of the Enrollment Management division and the campus community regarding recruitment initiatives, processing requirements, and curricular changes. * Collaborate with the Dean of University Admission to meet department needs and goals. * Collaborate with undergraduate admission personnel to refine the undergraduate admission process. * Partner closely with others in Enrollment Management and Information Technology Services to define, develop specifications for, and implement processes to satisfy both ad hoc and routine reporting requirements towards the goal of optimizing usage of Ellucian CRM Recruit for routine reporting and trend analysis. * Demonstrate sensitivity to students, faculty, and staff of varying racial, ethnic, religious, gender, cultural, disability, sexual orientation and socioeconomic backgrounds. * Assume other duties as assigned by the Dean of University Admissions.
Required Qualifications: * Baccalaureate degree required. * Minimum of 7 years admission experience in an enrollment management organization in a technical and/or leadership capacity. * Significant experience and proficiency with information technologies including database management and prospect management, ideally utilizing Ellucian Banner and Ellucian CRM Recruit. * Supervisory experience with strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications: * Master's degree preferred. * Extensive experience with Ellucian CRM Recruit, Ellucian Banner (SIS) & Banner Document Management System (BDMS), ARGOS, Wufoo. * Previous experience at the director level in Admissions Operation preferred.

Salary Range: $70,000 to $75,000
