Job Description

Responsibilities (80% Teaching, 20% Service):
• Develop and teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages program (face-to-face and/or online);
• Collaborate with the TESOL program coordinator;
• Contribute to evaluation and reporting activities related to the TESOL program;
• Participate in faculty governance with the Department, College, and University.


Minimum qualifications Doctoral Degree in TESOL or related academic field (bi/multilingual education, applied linguistics, second language acquisition, etc.). Candidate must have demonstrated effectiveness in teaching TESOL courses at the college level, in working with linguistically and culturally diverse populations, and in collaborating with college faculty.


Competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
