The Markey Cancer Center, Clinical Research Organization has an opening for a Cancer Clinical Research Nurse Navigator for Clinical Trials.

This position will provide resources to aid referring physicians from community hospitals and self-referred patients to find and volunteer for participation in complex clinical trials of the center, both for inpatient and outpatient care.

This position will offer timely, integrated, and coordinated assessment of eligibility for trials, pre-appointment testing (advanced imaging, biopsy, pathologic assessment and laboratory evaluation), assistance and rapid attainment of appointments for Markey clinical research providers which will enhance the physician referrals for clinical trials and the patient experience while at Markey, facilitate communication, and ensure timeliness of referrals, and essential part of clinical trial participation.
