University of North Texas - Assistant Director I - Academic Resources Coordinator
The Academic Resource Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire an Assistant Director I to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:* Coordination of faculty onboarding: maintain process map of faculty onboarding process, monitor process, complete assigned steps of the onboarding process, serve as a central point of contact for all new faculty through the onboarding process to provide exceptional customer service.* Tracking and report generation: maintain required spreadsheets for tracking all faculty onboarding activities, and generate and monitor reports of onboarding activities.* Posting and monitoring of UNT faculty positions into applicant tracking system: review and routing of related recruitment documents, entry and maintenance of data into faculty recruitment system, hiring manager support and training, and applicant support.* Coordination of faculty offer letters: maintenance of templates, coordination with hiring managers to produce accurate and timely letters, routing of offer letters through approval process, manage appropriate distribution and tracking of letters to candidates, processing and maintenance of appropriate documentation as offer letters are returned.* Communications: review and update faculty onboarding communications to ensure communications are accurate, up-to-date, and reflective of current university communication standards and messaging.* Facilitation with related university departments: facilitate onboarding communications with related offices as needed by providing notification and/or documentation for initiation of related processes, and by providing appropriate contact information or processes/checklists to hiring managers and department chairs who are responsible for completing these tasks.* Training: develop and facilitate faculty recruitment and onboarding process training for all academic units.The University of North Texas System is firmly committed to equal opportunity and does not permit - and takes actions to prevent - discrimination, harassment (including sexual violence), and retaliation on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, family status, genetic information, citizenship or veteran status in its application and admission processes, educational programs and activities, facilities, and employment practices. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in related field and three years of professional related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
