Job Description:

The AAHA accredited Oncology service sees over 3,500 patients annually, offering a state of the art level of care through medical intervention, surgical expertise, and radiation therapy. Highlights of this service include personalized chemotherapy protocols, advanced radiation therapy treatments with our linear accelerator, and progressive treatment options such as melanoma vaccines.

The Small Animal Hospital’s Oncology Service Representative will be an integral of member of the service, acting as a point person for communication with clients, other areas of the hospital, and referring veterinarians.  The ideal candidate is an excellent verbal and written communicator, highly self-motivated, and able to prioritize well.  Job duties may include appointment scheduling, processing of phone messages, coordination of patient care workflow, and communication with a large array of members of the veterinary care team, among others. This position will work with the Medical, Surgical, and Radiation Oncology Services.

Advertised Salary:

Starting salary is $13.00 to $16.00 per hour.

Minimum Requirements:

Associate's degree and 4 years of experience in veterinary and customer service.
