Adjunct Professor in Engineering
The Department of Engineering and Computer Science is seeking a qualified adjunct to teach a Machine Design course (ME380) in the Fall 2017 semester. This course builds upon a basic mechanics of materials course, discussing applications of stress analysis techniques learned in that earlier class. Application is made to design of individual machine components, and then may be translated into an overall device.
A successful candidate will have a Master of Science degree or higher in an engineering or related field as well as either teaching experience, industrial experience, or both.
Interested candidates should electronically submit a letter of application and a curriculum vitae including contact information for three references.
Review of applications will begin immediately. While applications will be accepted until the position is filled, for full consideration, applications should be received by July 15, 2017.
