Under the direction of the Director of Finance and Information Systems will perform professional duties in the creation and maintenance of accounting records the verification and documentation of financial transactions or the preparation and management of the Youth Learning Institutes budgets. Performs other duties as assigned.
40% - Essential - Fiscal Analysis:
Executes defined system processes for tracking revenue and expenses for the department. Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data. Produces daily reports for program managers and ensure data is updated. Distributes budgetary instructions and develops usage of forms.
30% - Essential - Business Efficiency:
Guides cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions. Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials.
30% - Essential - Procurement:
Provides research for all major procurements to ensure lowest cost/highest value procurement. Works with site and program staff to track and project recurring expense needs. Develops relationships with vendors to coordinate calendar of optimum purchase dates/seasons. Completes other duties as assigned by Associate Executive Director.
A high school diploma and professional experience in a related area such as accounting, auditing, finance or commercial lending.

Supervises Work of Others - Supervises work of others and may offer recommendations for hiring, termination and pay adjustments but does not have responsibility for making these decisions.
Monitors Budget - Does not provide input but is responsible for monitoring the departmental budget and may oversee fund allocation.
Bachelor's Degree - 2 yrs. experience in fiscal analysis/business management
