Duties and Responsibilities Programming, Events, Aquatics, Fitness, Reception Desk- Reporting to the Director of the Falcon Center and Student Activities, this position will be responsible for overseeing the reception desk, fitness and aquatic areas of the student Falcon Center and coordinate special programs which include fitness/wellness programs, aquatics and summer camps.- Design, develop, market and implement fitness and aquatic programs to include informal recreation, structured programs, summer camps, fitness classes and special events.- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise employees to ensure areas are staffed with certified lifeguards, fitness staff, fitness instructors, and reception desk employees.- Collaborate with the Director of ID Card services for implementation of ID cards at the reception desk.- Oversee Management staff in the areas of intramurals, club sports and summer camp programs.- Responsible for purchasing and communicating with outside vendors dealing with quarterly maintenance and up-to-date purchases.- Coordinate and schedule community programs including summer camps, aquatic birthday parties, bounce house parties, usage of the aquatic and other areas of the building for college sponsored and outside camps.- Fulfill duties as building manager on scheduled on-call nights and weekends.- Obtain and uphold Lifeguard Certification in order to oversee the aquatics area.- Serve as administrator on additional projects and duties as directed by the Director.

Minimum Required Education Master's degree required in Recreation, Sports Management, Exercise Science or related field.

Required Licenses and/or Certifications CPR, First Aid, AED, Lifeguarding

Type and Amount of Experience Needed Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in the field of Recreation Management.
