About The Unit:

Unit Job Summary: Design, develop and test new equipment, instruments, reagents, and/or experimental protocols for use in the zebrafish system, especially with regards to the study of maternal and zygotic factors during embryonic development. Collaborates with other researchers as appropriate. Participates in the preparation and writing of grant applications and reports, co-authoring of scientific research manuscripts and presentation of work at scientific meetings. Experience with modern molecular and developmental biology techniques as well as imaging using light and fluorescent microscopy, zebrafish embryology and CRISPR techniques.

Unit Education: Doctoral degree required.

Unit Experience: Completion of postdoctoral training program (normally 3-5 years) required.
