Required Qualifications: (Evidenced by an attached resume)

High School Diploma/GED. Undergraduate course work in the Biomedical Science field. Lab experience with cell cultures.

Preferred Qualifications:
Associates or higher Degree in the Biomedical Science field. Lab experience with patch clamp.

Brief Description of Duties:

Positions are established to accomplish necessary routine work for the project often in coordination with on-the-job training for employees. The successful incumbent must be responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and in a team setting. The Summer Project Aide will:

  • Assist with laboratory preparation and set-up, document preparation, and clean up.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Special Notes: The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation. Employment is subject to the Research Foundation policies and procedures, sponsor guidelines and the availability of funding. FLSA Nonexempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.
