Procurement Services - A department within the Finance and Administration Division, seeks applications for the position of Sr. Procurement Systems Analyst. The successful candidate will be highly motivated with a desire for learning and continuous improvements. This person will provide functional expertise and assistance for various eBusiness technologies including but not limited to electronic commerce, contract management, electronic sourcing, spend analytics, content management, supplier enablement, and electronic document processing primarily in support of the Procurement Services Strategic Sourcing Team and secondarily to end users across the FSU campuses. This position will focus primarily on how best to maximize the adoption and utilization/optimization of eBusiness technologies as well as translating technical terms into functional terms and training functional eBusiness technology users.
Manage new and existing supplier catalog content for all contract suppliers within SpearMart (http://procurement.fsu.edu/spearmart). Interact with Strategic Sourcing Managers to facilitate the timely review and approval of new SpearMart supplier catalog content and price files to ensure accuracy of data. Conduct periodic supplier pricing audits and spend analysis to ensure compliance with supplier contract prices. Conduct data analysis in support of strategic sourcing managers for possible future contracting and supplier consolidation opportunities. Provide assistance to the Procurement Services Management Team and Strategic Sourcing Managers in the generation of systems reports and data analysis. Provide data analysis to support supplier payment and end user performance related initiatives. Facilitate the management of supplier contract documents, notification of contract expiration lead times for the Strategic Sourcing Managers to ensure a comprehensive, well-managed supplier contract database. Provide enterprise-wide system support for initiatives to include eBusiness application evaluation, training, and development; business process review; testing; marketing; and documentation. Assist in the maintenance of eBusiness technologies. Troubleshoot system issues and end-user concerns. Assist in the automation of current procurement and strategic sourcing processes. Conduct system analysis, including the compilation of analytical reports. Assist with creating and generating reports that will monitor and measure the efficiency of current eBusiness technologies and processes. Develop and maintain a set of documented internal operations procedures for all aspects of SpearMart administrative management and support.
Bachelor's degree and two years of full-time experience directly related to responsibilities of this job; or a high school diploma/equivalent and six years of full-time experience directly related to responsibilities of this job. (Note: post-high school education/experience can substitute at the comparable rate.)
Experience in working with financial information as a means of decision making comparison and bench-marking.
Experience providing quality customer service.
Experience analyzing data to create reports, to identify trends and to make decisions.
Experience using Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel and Word.
Prefer Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field with at least 4 years of experience. Prefer candidates who have proven track record in analytical and prioritization skills; exceptionally strong written/verbal communication skills; proven track record of results versus commitments; demonstrated ability to work independently and produce results with minimum direction (resolve 80% of issues without escalation); the ability to exercise creative and critical thinking in evaluating situations and developing solutions; to use internal and external resources to independently develop solutions considering customer's capabilities and limitations; to facilitate stake-holder sessions to achieve consensus and collaboration; to synthesize information into succinct, concise and logical summaries and reports.
Experience with electronic procurement systems such as SciQuest.
Experience with a Spend Analytics tool such as Rosslyn Analytics.

Anticipated Salary Range
The annual salary range is $60,000 to $70,000. Actual salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.
