Web Strategist

Position Summary

The primary job responsibility of the Web Strategist will be to consult with RHS business operators and with the web development team to ensure RHS websites are aligned with divisional strategic priorities and are meeting end user needs and defined business goals. The Web Strategist will research and analyze customer behavior to determine web structural design and content objectives; will lead meetings and workshops to determine the content, structure and design of web sites; create wire frames, content maps, and other tools to guide designers and developers in the creation and maintenance of sites. May be asked to provide expertise on user experience and information architecture in areas outside of web development. Office location in RHS Information Services.

Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills

Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related technology field, with coursework in an information technology specialization related to the area of employment; three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in developing website architecture;establishing and optimizing web analytic tools; developing web strategies; business analysis; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
