CBORD System Administrator

Description:
  • Administration integration, automation and oversight of key College Data system, CBORD Campus ID System.
  • Serve as key liaison between Business Service and college's IT department.
  • Be a key technical and administrative resource for the college in regards to CBORD system.
  • Assist with the development, integration, and implementation of processes within CBORD system including, building access, alarms, meal plans and off campus merchants, custom report development and hardware installation and maintenance.
  • Coordinate ID card processing events. Maintain data security of CBORD systems.
  • Provide high level support to other campus CBORD Users and serve as primary contact for all CBORD requests.
  • Support all areas Campus Services

    Campus Location: Boston Campus

    Required Knowledge:
    • Understanding of Windows and Linux server administration skills, along with exposure to CBORD Systems.
    • Ability to work independently on large and complex projects that affect the CBORD system and the campus.
    • A good general understanding of programming and relational database applications
    • Project management skills, an ability to focus on the big picture while addressing numerous details, and the ability to quickly digest and understand business processes.
    • Well-honed communication skills and the ability to adapt to every changing community needs.
    • Strong personal organization and the ability to describe technical processes to non technical users

    Preferred/Desirable Knowledge:
    SQL Query Skills

    Required Prior Work Experience:
    Familiarity with CBORD and related applications
