Job Description Summary

Assistant to faculty member in training Emergency Medical Technology students in practical lab skills for several courses.



Job Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Required skills depend on the course and include National Registry Testing Standards

Assists the faculty in evaluation of student techniques for grade

Preparation and clean-up also required

Current EMT or Paramedic Certification

Day and evening programs

Performs other related duties as assigned



Required Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING

Must be a current EMT or Paramedic and present any other related professional certifications, i.e. AHA BLS Instructor, etc.

Recent field and / or educational experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent customer service skills and proven ability to develop and sustain productive customer relationships

Sensitivity to respond appropriately to the needs of a diverse population
