The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), College of Nursing is seeking candidates for full-time non tenure track Assistant/Associate or Full Professor of Nursing at the Chicago, Peoria, Rockford, Springfield, Quad Cities and Urbana campuses.

We seek a dynamic individuals wishing to teach within the graduate entry and undergraduate nursing programs within the Department of Biobehavioral Health Science. Duties:

Teach within the graduate and pre-licensure nursing programs. The successful candidate will teach in the areas of adult health, acute and chronic disease
Supervise students in clinical and simulation areas
Infuse cutting-edge approaches into the teaching/learning process
Conduct scholarly/research activities
Seek intramural and extramural resources to support practice &/or education-based scholarship
Participate in Departmental, College and University committees
Perform nursing and community service in areas of expertise.



Qualifications:

Doctoral degree in Nursing (DNP or PhD) or EdD by time of appointment, two years clinical experience and teaching experience in health professions. Candidate should have a record of scholarship and licensure as a registered nurse in Illinois or eligible for Illinois license
