The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), College of Nursing is seeking candidates for full-time non tenure track Assistant/Associate or Full Professor of Nursing at the Chicago, Peoria, Rockford, Springfield, Quad Cities and Urbana campuses.
We seek a dynamic individuals wishing to teach within the graduate entry and undergraduate nursing programs within the Department of Biobehavioral Health Science. Teach within the graduate and pre-licensure nursing programs. The successful candidate will teach in the areas of adult health, acute and chronic disease
Supervise students in clinical and simulation areas
Infuse cutting-edge approaches into the teaching/learning process
Conduct scholarly/research activities
Seek intramural and extramural resources to support practice &/or education-based scholarship
Participate in Departmental, College and University committees
Perform nursing and community service in areas of expertise.
Doctoral degree in Nursing (DNP or PhD) or EdD by time of appointment, two years clinical experience and teaching experience in health professions. Candidate should have a record of scholarship and licensure as a registered nurse in Illinois or eligible for Illinois license
