Job description

Duties: The Betley lab in the Biology department at the University of Pennsylvania is looking for a research specialist to be intricately involved as a team member to plan, design, performing, analyze and present data on experiments such as behavioral testing and histological analysis. The position will involve planning and executing appropriate behavioral and histological experiments and will involve presentation of the findings at lab meetings, departmental and University wide events and national conferences including the Society for Neuroscience annual conference.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Biological Science or Engineering and 0 to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Must be well organized, detail oriented, able to design, execute and evaluate a scientific plan.
