Child Care Aide - Substitute
The child care substitute at JCCC will assist in the preparation and implementation of a program appropriate for a designated group of young children when assigned to fill in for a regular staff member who is absent. This is an on-call substitute pool position.
- High school graduate or equivalent required. Experience with children in a group setting. Good interpersonal skills required. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds required. Ability to move freely (Bending, sitting on floor, running, jumping, etc.) to support the indoor and outdoor activity of children required.
- Twelve college credit hours in early childhood education preferred. Experience with word processing and general computer use. preferred. Experience in licensed childcare centers or preschools with children within the age range of 12 months to 6 years preferred.

- Experience with children in a group setting required.
