Summary of Duties:
Washington State University is seeking a full time person to join a research team focused on molecular biology, biochemistry and electrophysiology aspects of the regulation of physiological functions between cytokines and sleep.

This position is posted as open rank. Title being consider include Postdoctoral Fellow, Research Associate or Research Assistant Professor. Specific qualifications for each level is listed below.

For Postdoctoral Fellow: earned PhD in biological sciences. No experience past the degree is needed.

For Research Associate: earned PhD in biological sciences and/or a MD. Two years of post-PhD research experience is needed.

For Research Assistant Professor: Same as Research Associate. Must be more independent in managing a research project, have publications in high impact journals and have the ability to prepare and write grants. Letter of application should detail experience with grant preparation and management of a research project.

Required Qualifications:
Required is a PhD in a biological science and/or a MD. Required experience is depended on level of position applying for and can be found in the summary of duties.

Experience in molecular biology, cell biology, and neurobiology is required. Also required is the ability to work independently, have strong communication skills and the ability to work in a diverse team environment.
