Duties: The Administrative Assistant manages office operations for the Educational Talent Search Program; assists in the development and implementation of tasks streamlining the units' essential operational goals; maintains program files, including student files; maintains the program's Student Access database; processes financial transactions; and corresponds with internal and external constituents.

Qualifications: A High School Diploma or GED and 2 years to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills required. Strong organizational skills. Strong commitment to cultural and socioeconomic diversity. Excellent typing and proofreading skills required. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience working with middle and high schools a plus. Ability to work independently. Demonstrated ability to handle large volume of work accurately. Must be detailed oriented. This position is part-time, 25 hours per week.
