General Summary: The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Recruiter Cadet Admissions. The Limited Term Full Time commissioned officer recruits new students to UNG's Corps of Cadets. This person (1) provides accurate and timely information about academic and co-curricular program offerings, services, costs and financial aid to prospective students, parents, and other influencers, (2) acts as the Cadet Admissions liaison with the Commandant's Office, Professor of Military Science Office, and Corps of Cadets for recruiting events, and (3) works in conjunction with Admissions Coordinator and Director to achieve recruiting goals. Recruitment travel is required.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: The Recruiter Cadet Admissions will:
  • Be responsible for presenting information to tour groups, and communicating with prospective students, parents and/or influencers via phone, e-mail, or in person.
  • Be responsible for recruiting events and activities (high school visits, College Fairs, Academy Day), and achieving recruitment goals.
  • Be responsible for database management for the Cadet recruitment and University of North Georgia Military Scholarship process.
  • Assist the Director with analyzing and determining enrollment data and recruitment strategies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to make strong presentations to groups of prospective students and parents.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel) is desired.
  • Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds, work without supervision, multi-task, manage workload, and meet deadlines.


Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • University of North Georgia (UNG) graduate, previous member of the UNG Corps of Cadets and a commissioned 2 nd Lieutenant awaiting orders to attend the Basic Officer Leadership Course (BOLC)
