Degree and Area of Specialization:
Bachelor's degree required; Master's Degree in Higher Education, Economics, Business or Counseling preferred.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
A minimum of 2 years of professional work experience required. Knowledge of economics internship and career options. Works under general supervision of the Economics Career Development office Director.
This position will be in the Department of Economics and works closely with the Economics Career Development office Director. The Economics Department has more than 1,100 majors and is one of the largest majors on campus. The department has grown exponentially in the past 5 years and continues to expand each year. This position will be advising both our undergraduate as well as masters students on a daily basis. This position will also assist with Alumni Relations reaching out to our over 9,600 alumnus world-wide. In addition, this position will deliver career-related presentations to groups, both on-campus and off-campus as requested.
