Tusculum College is seeking applications for a full-time Registrar. The Registrar’s position reports to the Assistant Vice President of Academic Affairs.  The Registrar is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Graduate and Professional Studies and Residential College student registration and records, grade processing, graduation certification, athletic eligibility and veteran’s administration.  The Registrar directly supervises six full-time employees, and will support and promote the mission of Tusculum College to all faculty, staff, students, and to the community at large.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

A Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s preferred. A minimum of five years experience in a registrar’s office setting is preferred. Experience in student data management systems is required, (Colleague experience preferred). In addition, essential required qualifications include demonstrated experience in student records and systems development and implementation. Candidate must be able to handle multiple responsibilities, adapt to changing technology, possess a strong work ethic, be detail oriented, have strong organizational, supervisory and customer service skills, and be self-motivated. The Registrar must possess the ability to enforce college regulations while working with students, staff, and faculty in a very positive and collaborative way. The successful candidate must also possess   excellent interpersonal skills, planning, time management abilities, and the ability to interpret federal law as it applies to student records, and a devotion to academic tradition.
