A Networking Company in San Jose is looking for an HR Manager/Director

HR Manager/Director Job Description:

o Provide strategic, tactical & operational HR solutions focused on achieving business objectives
o Build partnerships at all levels & implement successful programs
o Ensure alignment between individual, departments and corporate practices as well as drive organizational design, development and effectiveness of work across teams.
o Drive effective delivery of HR Programs
o Advise management team on people related strategy - organizational design, compensation and development programs.
o Enhance HR Policies, procedures, processes to take the company to the next level.
o Build and maintain a fun, balanced and respectful culture

o Develop workforce planning strategies that support business objectives and needs. Identify the best strategies to hire the highest caliber talent, manage new hire orientation & on-boarding process
o Implement strategies to develop employee talent to ensure their skills grow with the demands of the organization. Work with management team, identify and develop methods toward building and improving on workforce effectiveness, job rotation, and training
o Ensure appropriate programs/practices are in place to assure regulatory compliance in employment, compensation and benefits matters.
o Keep current on Human Resources law, legislation and trends
o Foster an environment of development and growth
o Work with management team to create employee engagement programs and initiatives that will achieve employee retention and improve morale
o Manage performance review process
o Coordinate the day-to-day operations
o Develop and administer policies and procedures
o Provide employee relations support throughout the organization
o Manage organizational compensation programs (cash comp and equity): executive, management, salaried and hourly, ensure compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws
o Coach and mentor managers and employees on various human resources related initiatives and develop proactive employee relations strategies
o Consult on organizational issues; including unusual situations where precedents for resolutions are unavailable
o Manage facilities, office operations, office administration and office management responsibilities

You should have:
o 8+ years of HR management experience
o Experience with Hi-tech organizations desired, Experience with both start-ups and mid-size companies a plus
o Successful experience with all levels of management; able to effectively build relationships by establishing trust, credibility and adding value quickly
o Strong project management capability including written and verbal communication; able to present, persuade, influence and shift perspective as needed
o Comfortable with ambiguity and constant change, able to methodically work through complex problems, set priorities and execute on commitments
o Has a passion for creating successful organization, and helping drive a strong and winning culture
o Office management experience
