Serve as an announcer for various sporting events.

This position specifically supports the mission of the University and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics by assisting in institutional compliance with NCAA and Conference rules and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a high school education or equivalent

Ability to attend all trainings and pre-event meetings, must be available for the majority of Miami home athletic events. (Includes nights, weekends, and holidays)

Experience with a variety of microphone systems

Strong knowledge of NCAA rules and positions for a variety of collegiate sports, strong knowledge of the following sports: Ice Hockey and Field Hockey

Must be able to follow a timeline and be alert at all times during events.

Speak clearly, announce/Pronounce complex names, must be comfortable with speaking/announcing to crowds of 3000+, strong written and oral communication skills
