The West Virginia University School of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedics, is seeking a board certified/board eligible clinic-based podiatrist at our University Town Center location in Morgantown, WV.
Successful candidates must have a DPM degree from an accredited college of podiatric medicine and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license. Candidates must have also completed an accredited podiatric residency program at the time of appointment. Responsibilities will include providing excellent patient care as well as teaching medical students and orthopaedic residents.
The available position will have a heavy emphasis in diabetic wound care, general podiatry and non-operative treatment and care. No nursing home work. Ability to handle operative treatment of infections and wounds is a plus. Elective reconstructive surgery is not a focus of this position. Opportunities exist to participate in clinical and translational research.
