Visiting Assistant Professor of Kinesiology

Experience Requirement: Teaching experience at the university level.
Usual Duties: Applicant will be expected to teach undergraduate courses in Adapted Physical Activity and one or more areas of Motor Behavior/Exercise Physiology/Functional or Anatomical Kinesiology. Teaching assignments will include adapted physical education plus one or more of the following content areas: motor learning, functional kinesiology, exercise physiology, advanced exercise physiology, fitness education, or motor development. Additionally, this faculty member could initiate and collaborate in research and grant activities leading to scholarly publications; and participate fully in departmental, college, and university meetings and committees.
Degree Requirements: Ed.D. or Ph.D. in Kinesiology or related field. ABD will be considered.
Other Requirements for the Position: Evidence of scholarly productivity; excellent teaching evaluations; record of service at the local, state, or national level. Teaching undergraduate Kinesiology courses, supervision of field based experiences, advisement of students, recruitment of undergraduate and graduate students, assistance with student organizations, and serving on department, college, and university committees.
