The Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology & Metabolism at the University of Virginia, seeks candidates for multiple tenure-eligible Clinician Investigator faculty positions. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience. Successful candidates will be provided a competitive startup package that is commensurate with rank and experience.

Candidates must have an MD degree, be board-certified in Internal Medicine and board-certified or board-eligible in Endocrinology by the time of hire. Applicants should also have a demonstrated excellence in clinical services and education. The applicants must have a strong track record and interest in clinical, translational and/or basic science research in diabetes and endocrine diseases and the ability to develop an original scientific program as demonstrated by external funding and publications.
