Job Description
The University of South Carolina (USC) College of Pharmacy (COP) is recruiting for an antimicrobial stewardship pharmacist to develop, organize and execute statewide stewardship activities for South Carolina in leading the Antimicrobial Stewardship Collaborative of South Carolina (ASC-SC). The position is supported through an Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity grant sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC). The pharmacist will be hired as a Clinical Instructor in the COP and will work closely with DHEC staff and pharmacists, physicians, infection control preventionists and other health professionals throughout inpatient and outpatient facilities across South Carolina.

Minimum Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy degree from ACPE-accredited College/School of Pharmacy PGY1 and PGY2 residency training or equivalent experience.
Available for pharmacist licensure in state of South Carolina.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in antimicrobial stewardship preferred
