Job Description:

Responsible for providing the clinical services for University of Florida Employee Assistance Program, which includes providing responsive and accessible assessment, confidential short-term individual, couples, family and group counseling/psychotherapy, solution-focused consultation and referral services to faculty, staff, residents, fellows, and other employees. Coordinates clinical treatment and outreach/consultation services for employees.  Provides outreach, program development, programmatically relevant clinical research, supervision and teaching/training of faculty, staff and other employees as time permits. Develop, maintain and provide professional collaborative consultative services with Human Resource Services, faculty, staff, other employees, residents, fellows, supervisors, colleges, departments, and SHCC Clinicians. Consults with the Administration to enhance individual and organizational productivity, teamwork, and a psychologically healthy workplace.  Performs other duties and functions as assigned by the Director. Advertised Salary:

$60,000-$75,000 Commensurate with experience Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in counselor education, counseling/clinical psychology, or other related discipline and licensable/certified to practice within their clinical specialty in the State of Florida.  Prefer a doctorate in Counselor Education or Clinical/Counseling Psychology from an accredited college or university, which includes one year of supervised internship experience in professional psychology, or licensure as a psychologist by the State of Florida in accordance with Chapter 490,F.S.  Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) desirable. Experience working in a university setting and/or with an employee assistance program is highly desirable. Must be familiar with crisis intervention, referral techniques, and effective means of accessing community resources to make successful referrals for needed assistance beyond UFEAP. Must be able to establish a climate of trust and communicate effectively with a broad range of employees, managers, HR employee relations coordinators, and administrators from diverse social, cultural, and economic backgrounds and levels of responsibility Special Instructions to Applicants:
