Tallahassee Community College announces an opening for the following positions.
Assistant Director, Learning Commons
$47,173.00 - $51,663.00 annually; all salary calculations to start at the minimum salary
MAJOR FUNCTION: The Learning Commons Assistant Director is housed within the Learning Commons and will report to the Director of the Learning Commons. This position will assist the Director with the day-to-day operation and supervision of the Learning Commons.
MINIMUM TRAINING/EXPERIENCE: A Master’s degree in reading, writing, English, mathematics, science or other related academic fields; OR a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours reading, writing, English, mathematics, science or other related academic field; OR a master’s degree in adult education, higher education leadership or similar field. Also requires a minimum of two years of full time experience in a post-secondary academic setting, with at least one year of experience at the supervisor level. Experience may include full-time teaching experience at the secondary level.
Learning Commons Technology Manager
$38,773.00 - $42,464.20 annually; all salary calculations to start at the minimum salary
MAJOR FUNCTION: The Learning Commons Technology Manager is housed within the Learning Commons and will report to the Director of the Learning Commons. This position collaborates with the Learning Commons departments to support online learning via webinars and the Learning Management System (Canvas).
MINIMUM TRAINING/EXPERIENCE: A bachelor’s degree and two years professional online technology experience. One year of the required experience must be at the supervisory level. A master’s degree may substitute for one year of the required experience. No substitutions allowed for the required supervisory experience. Experience working within a learning assistant environment is preferred.
